conditions and the amazing Portuguese hospitality. We are excited for the first stop on
this year’s tour.
A new US location, Grayland Washington, will host the 2nd round of the 2022 IFWA
Freeride World Championship Tour as the USA stop. The Grayland Open, August 19.
21,will bring a festival type atmosphere to this charming beach community and offer an
ideal location to showcase these athletes’ skills. The Grayland Open began as a grass
roots event in 2009 and featured both up and coming riders and well seasoned pros.
This year, the IFWA will be working with long time event promoter and creator of the
Grayland Open, Dan Lindgen, to bring this world-class event to the next level.
Competitors will be vying for not only the IFWA US Title but also points and title for the
IFWA Freeride World Championship. Titles and awards will also be given for US
